Etsy shop updates-

Just a quick note today to let you know I have added some retired class kits to my Etsy store Fairy Davis Paperie.  This is a great project with a class kit that is packed with product.  You can find it in my store here: Home Sweet Home Canvas Class Kit with Instruction CD.

I am mad at work on some samples for CHA. The holidays kind of turned my schedule upside down.  I am also taking a few lazy days to spend time with my college girl before she heads back to school.  I hope to be back in my normal blog routine soon. 

Etsy shop updates-

My poor Etsy shop, it has been so neglected!  Yesterday after doing a bit of studio cleaning and organizing I got motivated to spiffy up my shop as well.

I added the crinoline fat quarters that I have been promising to list forever, a few project and class samples, and few class kits from previous classes (including some partial kits for my popular Made From Scratch Binder Class).  I also double checked my ribbon inventory and updated all of my ribbon listings.  Since I no longer to custom ribbon work, I will not be re-stocking the Midori or Hannah ribbons so the quantities shown in the store is all that I have left.  

I am going to continue adding more project samples so if you are interested in something I have made and featured here, feel free to email me and see if I will be listing it.

I have a new home for my downloads!  For a long time now I have used e-Junkie to deliver my class downloads.  Because that is a monthly service with fees based on file size, I had to host free downloads elsewhere.  For a while I paid to host the freebies and realized that I was paying way too much money to give stuff away for free.  I have tinkered with different free options and locations to host my free downloads since then.  None of those options have been great.  I started having some glitches with e-Junkie on the paid classes and decided it was time to explore some other options, something that would give me some space to grow.  I have big plans for more downloadable classes in the near future and needed to get something in place to that would handle those downloads better for both me and customers.  I think I have found it and am happy to unveil my new shop at Shopify: Tammy Tutterow Designs.  

I have given it some test runs and so far so good!  I am pleased with the look and operation and am happy about the space and options I have there to offer more things in the future, all under one roof!  I plan to eventually move my Etsy shop items there as well so that everything I sell will be in one spot.  Streamlining and simplifying feels really great!

I will be adding a handy button on the side bar soon and re-directly all of the old links to downloads there soon.

By the way- The Vintage Glimmer Tag Book class is back by popular demand.  I have gotten so many requests to un-retire it that I have brought it back.  I retired it because several products I used in the sample project were discontinued.  Several people mentioned to me that the class is really about the techniques demonstrated and not the product shown.  If you are interested in misting and learning ways to add misting to your projects, you may be interested in this class.

Etsy Shop Update: Class Kits and Pendants added

Just a quick note to let you know of a few new items in my Etsy store Fairy Davis Paperie.

I was making several of these pendants as gifts and decided to make a few extras.  The listing is for pendants only (no chain) and may be found in my Etsy store here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/78687212/heart-in-hand-acrylic-pendant.  As promised, I am working on a tutorial for the pendant, but for anyone who would rather have one ready made, I have them available.

I have a very limited number of class kits left over from my Made From Scratch Binder class featuring Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden.  This is a complete kit with instructions and all supplies needed (with the exception of ink and adhesive).  This class is now retired.  You can find the kits in my Etsy here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/78686128/class-kit-butterfly-garden-binder.

Etsy shop update-

I have a limited supply of spare class kits for my Distressed Decor Class that I have added to my Etsy shop.  They are $30 and include everything you need with the exception of adhesives, ink, and tools.  You can see the kit and all of the details in my shop: Distressed Decor Canvas Class Kit with Instruction CD.

 

I also have four Vintage Glimmer Tag Book Embellishment Packs available.  I have gotten quite a few requests to re-stock this kit and will be doing so, but in the mean time I have four available now.  You can find those here: Vintage Glimmer Tag Book Embellishment Pack.

Vintage goodness!

Gosh I love old stuff!  I have been having a lot of fun picking up some new vintage images to share, some wonderful vintage ribbons, and some to die for vintage photo albums!

 

 

Aren't the pages inside wonderful?  I will be pulling the pages out and setting some aside for an upcoming class and putting some in my Etsy shop.  Okay, before you gasp and tell me it is wrong to tear up an antique like that, let me assure you, that I only use albums that are damaged.  I love vintage stuff and love keeping and preserving them, so if I get an album that is in great shape, it stays intact.  But if the inside binding is busted or the cover is ripped or something like that, then it is just asking for a new life in art!

The last time I offered some of these pages they sold out within the first few hours.  So if you have been wanting some to make art with like I did HERE and HERE, then keep your eye out for an update here letting you know they have been listed.
