This project is a personal favorite! I love the idea of displaying a special key for Santa at Christmas time. Although this finished example is in a holiday theme, it can easily be adapted to a non-seasonal design by adjust a few supplies and colors. I plan to create a non-seasonal version "Welcome Home" in colors to match my living room decor. A Halloween version with "Enter If You Dare" would be fun as well.
Directions are broken down in over 100 small steps that include both a photo and text instruction.
The project features machine sewing but can be completed without sewing for those without a machine. The instructions include alternate suggestions for finishing the project without sewing.
