If you frequent my blog, you know that when I do samples for CHA it is always "stuff". For this show, I was a surprised to see a scrapbook page included in my assignments for BasicGrey. As you may know, with the help of sketches, I have been challenging myself to make more pages. For his assignment, I decided to push myself a bit further and made a page without a sketch! {gasp} And, even if I do say so myself. . . I think it is pretty darn good!
I think the part I love best is the cluster of embellishments. I think it is a fun combination of elements from the collection along with a Basics note card.
Under the cluster is a Take Note large journal card. The coordinating clear overlay is also under the embellishments and over the top of the photo.
To the right of the large main photo is a cluster of smaller photos.
I added rub-ons and stitching to the bacground paper.
I layered a cardstock scallop strip by Bazzill over a strip of patterned paper. I also added stitching to the strip.
I am pretty pleased with the page! I like that I was able to include so many images and really create a one page glimpse at such a fun day.
Tomorrow I plan to share another project I created for Tim Holtz. See you tomorrow!
