I have been a long time fan of Glitz Design and absolutely adore the girls that own it. It is so thrilling to be a part of their team again! I am so super excited about their three new releases. They are so fun and hip and vintage all at the same time. First up, Hoopla!
When I saw the fun and super cute Humpty Dumpty transparency I knew I had to do a project featuring him. Although the line has a birthday theme, I really liked the pallet for baby as well so I made a frame with more of a newborn theme.
The piece he is on is actually square but I decided to cut him out. I added a Glitzer sticker balloon bouquet and a rub-on crown. I used Helmar's Acid Free Glue which dries super clear quickly to adhere Humpty to the frame.
These fun pom poms are new from Glitz and come in a three pack with three colors and sizes. I really loved the yellow with the blue. They have also added more colors to their line up of Alpha Block stickers.
I love the way Humpty just seems to be sitting on the paper. By adhering him only on one side and leaving the other free, he sticks up and out from the frame giving it some extra dimension.
Of course I had to add a bit of shabby by fraying and curling the edges a bit. I love giving that extra peek of another pattern along the edge.
Tomorrow I will be back with another BasicGrey project, so be sure and visit tomorrow to see it!
