I recently joined the creative team at For the Luv of Art, a new online and kit club owned by my sweet friend Norma Kennedy. Today I want to share with you a fun little mini book I created using elements from the July kit, including the super fun and exclusive stamp set, Sweet Ollie.
And here is the mini I made:
I used Copic markers to color in the stamped elements on the canvas sheet and to also change the color of the letter stickers. I embellished the tree with the adhesives gems and pearls included in the kit layered on top of the included sequins.
I stamped the mini banner stamp on the canvas and cut it out. I then stamped it on different colors of pattern paper and adhered those pieces to the canvas. I also stamped the birdie and colored it with Copics before cutting it out. I used Helmar's awesome liquid glue 450 Quick Dry to adhere all of the canvas pieces on each page.
I filled the book with photos of my two daughters playing around in a photo booth.
On both the front and back pages I cut a pieces from the canvas sheet to fit the canvas banner pieces from the kit. I used pinking shears to trim the edges of the printed canvas and then sewed the two together. I also sewed on lace and twill trim.
