My dad always used to say, "Work, work, work. Make work fun!" Now that I am living the full time artsy craftsy life I am finally getting to really embrace the meaning of making work fun. With CHA (the BIG craft and hobby trade show) quickly coming up, I have been working like a mad woman from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. Once again, I did project samples for BasicGrey and will be attending the show and will be doing make-n-takes for Prima as a promotion for the Prima Endorsed Educators program. With top secret samples and lots of marketing materials to create, it hasn't left me much that I could blog.
One of the my big marketing projects has been to create a portfolio of my work. It has been quite a task to wade through all of the project photos of things I have created over the last 5 years or so. Looking through them all has been kind of like walking down memory lane. Many of the samples I create belong to the companies they are created for so once they shipped off, they are gone and don't come back. Looking at the photos was kind of like looking at photos of long lost friends! It was really hard to pick favorites, I have so many projects that I have made that I really love.
Until I can share photos of my projects for BasicGrey from the show, I will share some old favorites that I picked for my portfolio. Even though some of them are older lines, I hope you will see a spark of creative inspiration in them!
This project featured BasicGrey's Archaic line.
