Here is another canvas project that I did this week. I absolutely love this sweet angel stamp from Red Lead. I think she is just so pretty and vintagey. I am still working on improving my Copic skills and am pretty happy with how the coloring on this image turned out.
For this canvas I paired the image with felty fabric that I layered over a piece of shabby vintage ribbon that I salvaged from a very tattered baby bonnet. Under that is a piece of gorgeous paper from Websters Pages and then a page from a vintage book. I love that the words "enjoy" and "daily" are showing at the bottom. It was purely a happy accident and unplanned.
The book plate was plain silver so I painted it and then sanded away some of the paint to give it an aged look. The phrase in the plate is another stamp from Red Lead. They have really awesome phrase stamps. I catch myself buying a handful of them every time I visit the store.
