I know that I have been kind of missing from around these parts. Aside from the daily image, I haven't been posting. I have just been so blessed lately with so many crafty orders and such that I have been nose to the sewing machine pretty much non-stop when not at work. I had a project requested for a book that is super top secret. I can't wait to tell everyone about it because I am crazy over the moon excited about being in it. And then along with some wonderful bridal orders, I have had a HUGE order for some of my shabby scrapbooks that has me in serious book making mode. I can't spill the beans on that one yet either, but soon. . .
So anyway, how about a little eye candy. . .
I am so lucky to have the most amazing fabric store in the world in my local area, it is called Jackman's Fabrics and I like to think of it as fabric heaven. Today I wandered in there and found the fabric above. I know it will sound goofy, but the second I spotted it I fell madly in love and grinned from ear to ear. I can not wait to see it made into a book! This fabric is from the Aviary Collection by 3 Sisters for Moda. The whole line is stunning. I really wanted a bit of it all!
They also have the new fabric lines from BasicGrey that include Eva, Sultry, and FIGGY PUDDING!! If you loved these paper lines, you will die for the fabrics. Figgy was one of my all time favorites. I drove home daydreaming of what to make with it.
While I am talking about Moda, I have to say I am so antsy to get my hands on the Moda fabric designed by the super sweet gals from Sweetwater. They don't have it at Jackmans, but I am hoping they will soon. It is called Authentic and I seriously need it.
