I have tons of new things to share if I would ever get my tail end in gear and edit the photos. I just need more hours in a day. sigh.
I haven't shared any new photos from my garden lately, so I thought I would share a few to fill a little space until I get all of the crafty images edited.
First up, a real curiosity. . .
It is a conjoined coneflower. How bizzare! It made me do a double take when I saw it. I think I will have to keep it and dry it. I am pretty sure I won't ever see another like it.
The garden has been full of bees so far this summer. I don't think there has been a single day that I have take the camera out that I didn't find a bumble bee or two feasting on the blooms of the day.
I am really liking the extra splash of color from the annuals that I added to the front bed this year. I normally keep them in the wash tub and a few pots tucked into the garden. This year I had to remove a hosta that was growing out halfway over the sidewalk. It was HUGE. It left a huge open spot when I moved it so I decided to just fill it with annuals until I figured out what to put there. I am glad I did. My front bed is normally a whole lot of green, so the extra color on the ground level is a nice change.
This next week I will finally be getting to share my latest projects for BasicGrey here using their newest lines. If you love BasicGrey be sure to check back on Tuesday to see what I made!
