A day spent sewing. . .

Is a day well spent. I spent a good part of the day yesterday working on a new bridal bag.  I have been picturing this bag in my mind for a few weeks now and have been waiting on a few supplies to start on it.  It includes two of my ribbonwork poppies, one regular sized and one in a mini size.  It has hand dyed silk cording curling down and around the back of the bag. The flowers have vintage flower stamens in the center along with Swarovski crystals.  There are bead clusters all along the stems. Once it is finished it will have a drawstring top with double faced satin ribbon pulls.  Once it is added to the shop, it will be available in all of the ribbon colors I offer as well as in different fabrics.
