After spending a couple of dark days lost in the land of vicodin, I am finally awake again and playing with some scrappy goodies. For those curious, I have been blessed with some very poorly working woman parts which after two surgeries still don't work well and have led to a few days lost to the haze of too many pain killers. On the bright side, the episode has passed. On the even brighter side, my doctor finally says the time has come to just take the junk out. I don't have the date yet, gotta get that figured out, but in the mean time, I am just thrilled that the end is in sight.
So anyway, scrapping. It feels like forever since I sat down and played just because I wanted to. Last night I finally did and cranked out two projects, both using the latest Jenni Bowlin kit. Love that kit, love that company. I love that they love vintage and shabby as much as I do.
Anyway, I will share the first of the two things I made today and come back tomorrow with the other, which is a layout {gasp} yes, a layout. This project is one of those fun frame boxes that holds a little photo album inside. The first photo is the before and then the next are my re-dos.
I plan on putting favorite photos of David and I together in it. Not that there are a lot since I hate having my picture taken, but surely I can scrounge up a few.
The frame had a photo mat inside under the glass. I took that out and covered it in pattern paper from the JBS Victoria collection. I then added embellishments to the outside of the frame and adhered them to the outside of the glass. Everything you see is from the August JBS kit.
