Here are another couple of things I whipped up yesterday.
You may have noticed lately that I have been playing a lot with vintage images. I am so hooked on the whole collage/mixed media thing right now. I am excited to be able to mix another of my loves (collecting vintage photos and paper goods) in to my scrappy play. This piece is a little hanging sign to welcome the arrival of spring (finally!!). At the crop, Catherine shared some vintage graphics for a virtual make n' take. I used the wings, the dictionary print, and the ledger print and added my own vintage photo. The pattern paper I used here is of course Pink Paislee and actually the scrap from the center of this frame:
I made this frame today for the Show-Me Saturday post on the Pink Paislee blog. I used a frame from Target's Dollar Spot. I added papers and die cuts from the Spring Fling collection and a fun little rub-on phrase from 7gypsies. I thought it would be fun to do a little give-away there so if you leave me a comment over there on the post, I will enter your name in a drawing for this frame.
