Anna has gone overboard. . .

Anna is a little addicted to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She watches it pretty much non-stop. Luckily, since we have cable, you can find an episode almost any hour of the day. For Emmy day she was down right giddy because she was certain that her hero Mariska (who play Olivia) would be taking home an Emmy that night. There are just not words to describe the look on her face as Patricia Arquette walked away with the statue that night. Of course all of the Mariska-ites on the Mariska message board (Anna included) were fuming! The photo to the left is Anna's contribution to the Mariska.com message board in the wake of the great Emmy disappointment.

Anyone care for tea?

Emma has discovered the magic of pretend play. While spending the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house, she learned all about tea parties. Grandma and Grandpa got her a new tea set and she loved sipping play tea.

After she had her surgery I decided she needed a new fun toy for home. I rushed out to Walmart and found a musical tea set. Emma loves it. Anna hates it, she says the music is annoying. The music comes from the lid of the teapot (it plays I'm a Little Teapot of course), so big sissy is fond of hiding the lid. Emma doesn't care, the tea tastes just as good without a lid.

She is so cute when she "drinks" it. She makes a slurping noise. She makes sure everyone has a cup and watches until you slurp too.
